October 2011
- Last month I mentioned that we hoped to close out the year with style - now it looks like that is going to happen. Aside from the announced gig in Chicago on 11/19 and on WEFT Sessions December 5, it looks like we'll be gracing the stage at Mike N Molly's with an as-of-yet unnamed band lead by none other than Hot Glue Gun's Mike Clayton - as well as hosting an end-of-semester bash at the Iron Post in December. As if that's not enough, the band is busily working on writing new material as well as finalizing our recordings for the upcoming album. We will keep you posted as details are finalized, but the future couldn't look much better from this vantage point ...
September 2011
- We're hoping to complete our recordings for the upcoming album this Fall and are doing some work to improve our home studio in order to make that happen. We're also planning a trip to Chicago in November and a radio appearance in December. We hope to close out 2011 in style!
- We'll be celebrating our second birthday on September 6 with Nonagon and RedLeg (formerly Crane & Badger.) For those who weren't there, our first birthday party featured a crazy pinata, cake and all sorts of ear-splitting fun. We hope to top it this year. Come out and join the fun!
August 2011
- After a summer off, Withnail took it back to the beer garden to bid a fond farewell to Johnny Chemical of The Chemicals and welcome a new alt-folk band called "An Evening With Your Mother" to the scene. The show started early and ran late, featuring lots of great moments in between. Songs from all of the bands can be found on YouTube - check it out!
